Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:
KSA is located in the South West of Asia Continent covering vast area of Arab Peninsula, delineated from the west with the Red Sea, from the north with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Republic of Iraq and Kuwait, and from the east with Arab Gulf (State of Qatar, UAE, Sultanate of Oman) and from the south with Republic of Yemen. KSA was established officially on 21 Jumada I, 1351H corresponding to 22 September, 1932 but, such establishment extends back to the year 1157H (1744G), when the first Saudi State was established by its Prince Mohamed Bin Saud, and this state continued approximately 75 years. The second Saudi State started on 1340H (1834G), when Imam Turki Bin Abdullah captured Riyadh City and freed all Najd from the control of Mohamed Ali Basha, and such state continued also 75 years during which nine persons alternated the rule. On the fifth day of Shawal in the year 1319H His Majesty the Late King Abdul Aziz could recover the dominion of his grandfathers and rule Riyadh, when no later 22 years he could establish his strong kingdom.

The KSA population is estimated to be more than twenty million approximately.

Calendar:
KSA uses Hijri calendar, which is related to the immigration of Prophet Mohammed from Makkah Al-Mokarramah to Al-Madina Al-Munawarrah. Hijri year is lunar year containing 354 days divided by twelve lunar months.
KSA Flag:
KSA flag is rectangular. Its width equals two thirds of its length, with green background. The statement (No God but Allah, and Mohammed is the Messenger of Allah) is written in Thulth calligraphy in its center, under which there is Arab sword whose handle is directed towards the flagpole. In consideration to respecting the Shahadah Statement i.e. (No God but Allah, and Mohammed is the Messenger of Allah), it shall not be lowered at half mast nor to touch ground or water.
KSA Emblem:
KSA emblem consists of two Arab bent cross-swords towered up by palm tree. The two swords symbolize power, strength, and sacrifice. Palm tree symbolizes vitality, growth, and prosperity.

Constitution & Ruling System:
KSA constitution is the Holy Quran and Noble Prophet's Sunnah. All its legislative regulations are derived from these two sources. Ruling system of KSA is Royal system. Council of Ministers and the King form the executive and legislative authority of the state, Majlis Al-Shura (Consultation Council) undertakes giving opinions in the general policies of the state which are referred thereto from Head of Council of Ministers.
